First State Bank of the Florida Keys and Peter Pike & Associates raised $585 in a Keyswide humanitarian effort to provide help for Hurricane Irene victims in the Bahamas.

First State Bank opened a Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund bank account for cash donations to help the hurricane victims with water, food and shelter to be donated to American & Bahamas Red Cross organizations.

“First State Bank was proud to partner with local business owner Peter Pike and the Red Cross to help our island neighbors during their time of need,” said Don Lanman, Senior Vice President of First State Bank of the Florida Keys.
