Local Businesses Ensure Successful Family Event

First State Bank of the Florida Keys joined the Conch Tour Train and Old Town Trolley as major sponsors of the 30th Annual Children’s Day Festival.

Children’s Day allows youth based organizations a much needed opportunity to raise funds for their organizations and provides a safe and fun day for the children of the Keys.

First State Bank, Conch Tour Train and Old Town Trolley along with sponsors from Toppino’s, Conch Color, Island 107.1 and Arnold’s Towing funded the event for local, non-profit youth organizations. First State Bank’s Angie Walterson joined HTA’s Ed Swift, Chris Belland and Debbie Swift Batty as was emcees for the all-day event.

First State Bank provided several volunteers to assist with the costume contest to organization hand out free balloons and temporary “Moolah the Manatee” tattoos to children. First State Bank mascot “Moolah the Manatee” was also on hand for entertainment.

The annual festival for families and young children, included over 60 games, contests and food booths all benefiting local, non-profit youth organizations.
