Moolah for Poinciana Classrooms
Pictured: First State Bank of the Florida Keys Assistant Vice President & Public Relations/Communications Manager Angie Walterson and the Bank’s mascot “Moolah the Manatee” pay a visit to Poinciana Elementary School and donate $250 to Ms. Smouse and Ms. Cameron’s classrooms.

First State Bank of the Florida Keys enriches student education at two Poinciana Elementary School classrooms.

First State Bank’s sponsorship to Ms. Smouse’s first grade class will be used to purchase Accelerated Reader Books, while Ms. Cameron’s fifth grade class will use the funds to purchase enrichment and gifted activist, math and science support materials.

“First State Bank is pleased to once again provide financial support to enhance the academic experience for two classrooms of Proud Pelicans,” said First State Bank AVP & Public Relations/Communications Manager Angie Walterson. “As a parent, I am so proud to work for a hometown organization that cares so much about the educational, athletic and cultural growth of the children in our community.”
