First State Bank of the Florida Keys Big Pine Office is holding bake sales to benefit the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” fundraiser. The next sale will be held at the Bank’s Big Pine Office at 30515 Overseas Highway in Big Pine on Friday, September 30th.
First State Bank of the Florida Key’s employees made over $500 selling homemade baked goods at the first event. Leftover treats are donated to the Lower Keys Boys and Girls Club.
“We’re proud to support First State Bank’s Keyswide American Cancer Society efforts and raise money for such an important cause,” said First State Bank Vice President/Branch Manager Shana Casey. “We invite everyone to visit our branch on the 30th to help us raise money, and enjoy some delicious treats!”
In support of Relay for Life, First State Bank sponsors many Relay for Life events throughout the year including yard sales, bead sales, raffles, auctions, jewelry and bake sales.
