First State Bank of the Florida Keys and Executive Vice President Bette Brown were named "Affiliate of the Year" by the Florida Keys Board of Realtors in recognition of the Bank’s support of the Keys real estate industry and local community.

“First State Bank of the Florida Keys has been committed to supporting the Realtors and the Keys real estate industry for over 55 years,” said Brown. “The Bank’s dedication and committed team of local banking and lending professionals allows us to remain active with the Florida Keys Board of Realtors that significantly contributed to our recognition as “Affiliate of the Year”.

Brown joined First State Bank of the Florida Keys in 1995 as Senior Vice President/ Regional Manager. She was promoted to Executive Vice President/Retail Market Executive in 2000 and assumed her current position as Executive Vice President/Regional President in 2005.
